Epic Desert Hiking Adventure: 3 Days Backpacking the Capitol Reef hidden Canyons in 92° Heat.

3 days of trekking, backpacking submerged in canyon water and in extreme heat in the red desert of the American West, Utah, Capitol Reef National. Hiking the Extravaganza trail, Sulfur Creek and Spring Canyon with my buddy Jamal Green of ‪@Acrossutah‬ An epic adventure deep in the desert canyons.

My original channel ‪@NorwegianXplorer‬ is now focused on my Van and Storm videos, so I wanted a clean new channel for my backpacking trips where I go back to my basics with no sensational storms and weather, unless that should occur on my backpacking trip. Not a silent hiking video, for those you should look at Harmen Hoek or Kraig Adams, especially the very long 4 Hours of Ambient Silent Hiking from Kraig Adams which is one of my favorites in the genre.

My gear is the basics I have used for a long time, Marmot tent, HMG backpack, Primus Stove, Western Mountaineering sleeping bag, La Sportiva shoes, Therm-a-rest sleeping pad, Arcteryx, Devold and Norrøna clothing and some more stuff.
