Not every bird photography day needs to be fast-paced. In this video, I take it slow—real slow. Armed with my camera, a hammock, and a quiet afternoon at Lake Casitas, I let the birds come to me. From acorn woodpeckers to jays and warblers, I captured peaceful moments without ever leaving my cozy spot.

This video is all about slowing down, appreciating the sounds of nature, and finding joy in the stillness. Sometimes the best birding comes when you stop chasing and just start watching.
