One of dozens of steps involved in making the hardwood saxophone stand, this video shows the pneumatic hold-down method. The wood is rough sawn to size and counterbores are added to accept the hold down pins and slotted washers. This method reduces changeover time and uses far less energy than bolted hold downs (using pneumatic screwdriver).
