Warne Marsh - Tenor Sax
Sal Mosca - Piano
Frank Canio - Bass
Skip Scott - Drums
I bought these two CDs in 2000 from discogs purely for the curiosity of Warne Marsh ever having played at the Village Vanguard, but it turned out to be some of the most interesting stuff I had heard from the Tristano school, definetely worth the ride, Sal Mosca shines on some of these tracks. Warne Marsh's relationship with rhythm section musicians is sporadic, and these CDs represent the end of Sal Mosca's partnership with Warne Marsh.
