Welcome to my childhood!

We're doing our first playthrough of Pokémon HeartGold and I'm super excited to be playing the remake of my childhood Pokémon game! We'll be playing it the way I did back then: unoptimized and not worrying too much about hidden stats or perfect routes. This is not a speedrun, a nuzlocke or any sort of challenge run. It's just me experiencing my childhood again, so come join me in that journey!

Note: I don't mind backseating in this game as I've got plenty of my own experience, but please bare in mind that I want to play through this game like I did back in the day, and as such I will most likely ignore optimization advice.
