Railroad Rampage - Game Walkthrough (full)

Wear that golden star with the mark of a sheriff and take out those wanted criminals. Make sure they don't escape from the railroad tracks in this fighting game known as Railroad Rampage. Select a mission and locate the boss hiding somewhere on that train. You will face his henchmen or hired bad guys and you must defeat them using your cool combos. Defeat the boss ad mission will be completed. You also have a gun to shoot them from long distances but your ammo is limited. Destroy the crates and barrels to search for health items, extra bullets, and other items for bonus points.

Overview

Railroad Rampage is an action packed fighting and shooting game with a western setting, the west is being ravaged by outlaws and as a sheriff, it is your duty to put them behind bars and make the wild west safe once again, you will take on the role of a sheriff and you need to fight the baddies one by one and eliminate them for good, it is not going to be easy as the enemies are numerous, besides the bosses that you need to fight, you also need to kill their henchmen, there are 18 missions in the game, each one features a variety of enemies for you to fight at the back of a speeding train, hence the title Railroad Rampage, you can punch, kick and slide to fight the enemies, even shoot them with your six shooter if you must, you need to do everything you can just to get the job done, just be careful though as you are not invulnerable, if your health reaches zero, your character will die, you can also fall off the train if your not being careful, so are you up to the challenge?, do you have the skills to take on the role of a sheriff and put all the bad guys behind bars?, play the game and find out for yourself here in Railroad Rampage.

Graphics and Sound

Railroad Rampage has very simple retro styled graphics, the game kinda reminded me of those 90s shooters that I played before, the character designs are nice, they have very nice details and varied looks, the environments are also great and although the mission locations pretty much looked the same, they still looked kinda pretty as the foregrounds are very colorful and so are the backdrops, it features rocky mountain ranges that are quite typical of the wild west, colors are great, there is variety and they generally look sharp and vivid, the animations are also okay, not the smoothest there is but they get the job done, the music and sounds are also cool, the in game music features a nice western tune while the sound effects are varied enough so as not to get you bored, the gunshots are kinda realistic too, special effects on the other hand are those retro types, nothing new but still looked kinda pretty, overall, the game's retro designs and western theme was enough to make it looking pretty and nice.

Gameplay

Railroad Rampage is basically a fighting and shooting game, your character will be armed with a gun that you can use against the enemies, ammo is quite limited though, and if you run out of ammo you can resort to punches and kicks, when the game starts, you will start at the tail end of the train, and you need to fight a lot of baddies while moving towards the front of the train, once you have eliminated the henchmen, you will now need to face of with their boss, the bosses are usually stronger and armed with more powerful guns, so better be careful here, controls are simple and easy, you only need to use the WASD to control the character, the mouse to aim and shoot and the spacebar to reload your weapons.

Features

Railroad Rampage features retro styled graphics, there are 18 challenging missions for you to complete and the game has very simple controls to make your experience a lot more fun.

Conclusion

Railroad Rampage is quite fun but also a bit challenging, I wish there were more ammo in the game, I picked all the ammo that can be picked in the game, but it still wasn't enough, try it and see for yourself.
