Frederic "Wally" Bissinger was an infantryman who served with the 7th Infantry Division during the Korean War. He poignantly reflects on being drafted into service, and the many experiences that he and other young soldiers faced in "The Forgotten War". Veterans Remember is an ongoing project that seeks to collect and document the memories, thoughts, and experiences of U.S. military veterans who live in Mesa County, Colorado. This video was produced in 2019 by Mesa County Public Libraries in Grand Junction, CO.
