With the ban of social media (including Discord) in Nepal, Nepal's Gen Z planned a protest to stand against long running corruption in the country. Corruption revealed by rich kids trying to become tiktok influencers, which backfired and created the "nepokids" hashtag.

But when the protests were hijacked by opportunists and turned lethal, the protests escalated into a whirlwind of destruction.
