Day 2 | Barsana Yatra – Radha Rani, Nandgaon, Govardhan & Divya Leela Sthal

Day 2 of our Braj Yatra takes us deep into the divine land of Barsana — the sacred place of Radha Rani.
From hilltop temples to ancient leela-sthal, every step today felt emotionally powerful and spiritually calming.

We started the day at Nandgaon’s Nand Baba Mandir, perched on Nandishwar Parvat — the place where Shri Krishna spent 9 years and 50 days of his childhood with Nand Baba and Yashoda Maiya.
This is the only temple where Krishna, Balram, Nand Baba, Yashoda Maiya, and Radha Rani (in ghoonghat) are worshipped together.

Next, we moved towards Govardhan Parvat, where Lord Krishna lifted the mountain on his little finger to protect Brajwasis from Indra’s wrath.
Here, we experienced the powerful energy of Govardhan Parikrama — the 21 km Saptakoshi Parikrama, along with stories of Dandauti Parikrama, where devotees walk by fully surrendering themselves to Giriraj Ji.

During the parikrama, we visited important spiritual spots like:

Puchhri Ka Lotha — dedicated to Krishna’s dear friend Madhumangal

Radha Kund & Shyam Kund — the most sacred kunds of Braj, born from divine love and devotion

As the day ended, heavy traffic and tired feet couldn’t overpower the peace in our hearts.
Day 2 concluded with gratitude… and the promise of Day 3 in Vrindavan.
