I absolutely love the lessons about motherhood that this show provides, and feel that it's really important to listen to them in this day and age, when motherhood is attempted to be forced onto so many women against their wishes. This show is a masterclass at portraying the effects of abuse that can arise from being forced into a position, and has a really thoughtful analysis on what being a "good mother" actually means.
