Approved and autographed by the King of Drag Racing, Big Daddy Don Garlits, the 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody Dream Car is a one-of-a-kind vehicle at home on street or strip. The 2020 Hellcat Dream Car is an incredible modern muscle car that features aerodynamic upgrades from APR Performance and a custom appearance package from American Car Craft. Forza Tuning and Performance (Clearwater, Florida) will provide performance and handling modifications in the form of their Forza Stage 4R Package. Maximum engine output will be increased from 707hp to approximately 1,000hp, with significant improvements in handling and stability. The Forza Stage 4R Package yields race-ready performance in a street legal platform suitable for everyday driving.
The 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody is already one of the most powerful domestic production vehicles - even in factory trim. Equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine, the 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4-seconds and has an electronically controlled top speed of 199 mph. You can expect to turn a quarter mile in 11.2-seconds (at 130 mph) in the stock Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody (according to Car and Driver Magazine).
Forza Stage 4R Package modifications are extensive and include enhancement of the supercharger system, the exhaust system, the fuel injection and fuel supply system, the computer command system, the drive line and the rear suspension.
Nationally recognized performance guru and Forza President Brenton Brown will install the Forza 4R Package and lead us through a detailed tutorial of each step. The 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat Dream Car is brand new with very few miles on the engine. Since the vehicle is so new, Brenton will not simply swap the supercharger out with a ported unit from Jokerz Performance – as is the typical practice. Instead, Brenton will remove the supercharger and send it out to Jokerz for porting. When the supercharger is ported, it will be returned and reinstalled. The supercharger hub and pulley will be upgraded.
An oversized harmonic damper and crankshaft pulley from ATI will help to create more pressure from the supercharger. Modern Chrysler engines seldom pin the factory crankshaft damper so, the oversized pulley will need to be pinned. A significant amount of material will also need to be removed from the timing cover and surrounding area to provide clearance for the oversize pulley. Brenton is an expert in these delicate areas, having performed both procedures hundreds of times. A Gates Green supercharger belt will be installed. Seals, bushings and gaskets are also replaced as required.
A Forza 2-inch heat exchanger is added to further decrease the temperature of air as it is sucked into the engine. The specially designed Forza crankcase breather assembly helps to decrease crankcase pressure.
Stock manifolds are replaced with Kooks stainless long-tube exhaust headers. With larger openings and less restriction, Kooks exhaust headers allow spent gases to escape more efficiently, liberating horsepower.
Other engine modifications include a set of Brisk spark plugs, a 160-degree thermostat, a fuel pump upgrade and Fuel Injector Connection oversize injectors. Brenton Brown will expertly tune the 2020 Hellcat Dream Car.
The 2020 Charger Hellcat two-piece driveshaft will be replaced with a one-piece aluminum driveshaft from Drive Shaft Service (DSS). The one-piece shaft is rated to 1,000hp.
Chromoly rear track bars and upper lateral control arms from AAD, as well as Spohn tubular rear sway bar links help get the rubber to the road – and keep it there.
The 2020 Hellcat Dream Car is a real nightmare for the competition.
