St Josemaria matriculated in the Law faculty of the University of Saragossa. He loved the academic atmosphere and from then on he always considered himself a university man. He did all he could to foster human and Christian education in the intellectual sphere. Under his inspiration, in 1952, the University of Navarre was founded.
