The Kia Forte, known as the K3 in Asia, the Forte K3 or Shuma in China and Cerato in South America, Australia, New Zealand and Russia, is a compact car manufactured by South Korean automaker Kia since mid-2008, replacing the Kia Spectra. It is available in two-door coupe, four-door sedan, five-door hatchback variants. It is not available in Europe, where the similar sized Kia Ceed is offered (except for Russia and Ukraine, where the Ceed and the Forte are both available).
In some markets, such as Costa Rica, Australia and Brazil, the Forte is marketed as Kia Cerato, replacing its predecessor of the same name. In Colombia and Singapore, the name Cerato Forte was used for the second generation, while Naza Automotive Manufacturing of Malaysia has assembled the vehicle since 2009, selling it there under the name Naza Forte
The Kia K4 is a compact car manufactured by South Korean automaker Kia. It was introduced in 2024 as a replacement for the Forte/K3/Cerato with the latter nameplate being used on a subcompact car.
The car was first introduced on 21 March 2024, and was fully introduced on 27 March 2024, at the 2024 New York International Auto Show. It is available as a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback.
For the Chinese market, Kia has offered the "Forte Furuidi" (福瑞迪) or Forte (later Forte R for the facelifted model) produced by the Dongfeng Yueda Kia since 2009.
In Malaysia, the first generation Forte is assembled by the joint-venture company Naza-Kia and is called the "Naza Forte" and in Singapore, the first generation Forte was called the "Kia Cerato Forte.
Kia Forte is also called as Kia Cerato, Kia K3, Kia Forte Furuidi.
Kia Forte successor is Kia K4.
Kia Forte predecessor are Kia Cerato (2003–2008) and Kia Spectra.
The first generation of kia forte is also known as Kia Cerato, Naza Forte in Malaysi), Kia Shuma in China; Koup, Kia Koup in Chile.
The first generation of kia forte related models are Hyundai Avante/Elantra (HD).

Discontinuation and Successor:
On March 21, 2024 Kia revealed the K4 to replace the Forte, to realign passenger car nomenclature. The K4 will be fully introduced at the 2024 New York International Auto Show. In addition to the Forte being renamed the K4, the Rio was renamed to the K3 (which the Forte had previously been named in South Korea, Vietnam and China), the Optima was renamed the K5, and the Cadenza was renamed the K8.
