I traveled from Connecticut to Texas for the RBC Gran Fondo Texas . The weather was great, and it was a well organized event on a nice course with some rolling hills but nothing steep.
There were some pretty good winds out there, and I joined a group that got an echelon going for a while but a crossed wheel nearly took a rider down.
