National Library Week in Kendriya Vidyalaya

National Library Week was celebrated with great excitement at Kendriya Vidyalaya. The main aim of the celebration was to encourage students to develop a habit of reading and to understand the importance of libraries in gaining knowledge.

During the week, several interesting activities were organized for the students. A Book Exhibition was set up where many types of books were displayed. Students got a chance to look at different books and learn about new topics. Reading Sessions were held where students enjoyed reading stories, improving their reading skills and vocabulary.

To make the event fun and creative, a Storytelling Competition was organized. Students shared their favorite stories, which helped them express their ideas confidently. A Library Quiz was also conducted, where students answered questions about famous books, authors, and library rules. Another exciting activity was Bookmark Making, where students designed colorful bookmarks with inspiring quotes about books and reading.

The celebration was a great success, and all students participated with interest. At the end of the week, everyone promised to make reading a regular habit. National Library Week helped students realize that books are their best friends and libraries are the treasure houses of knowledge.
