The General Owu unification of Ndị Mgbidi which consists of the 12 Villages in Mgbidi.

Mgbidi General Owu as reformed by ndị Mgbidi Tradition and Culture in 2022,
which was craved to unify, and show case us our collective heritance.

Owu is a festival of Peace 🕊️ Love, unity and progress which is wealth and puts smiles on the faces of viewers with spiritual inclination of bounty harvest, wealth, health and peace, a culture brought by Ndị Mgbidi who visited Nkwesị in Oguta local government the pregnitor of Owu Mgbidi, a Representative from Uzinaumu, Ugbele and Umuabiahu visited ndị Ịsị Owu in Nkwesị land, and the Owu Cultural staff ⚕️ Ọfọ Owu was handed over to the eldest From Uzinaumu who is the Agu nà Egbụ Ewụ Mgbidi, the Head and custodian of Ọfọ Owu Mgbidi, who controls the calendar 📆 Traditions of entrant and exit of Owu in Mgbidi, which is observed with cultural items.

In Owu Mgbidi dates were assigned by merging of villages, like the first set 📐 Uzinaumu, Ugbele, Umuabiahu just the way of seniority in Owu initiation, and Owu has two segments Owu Abalị (Night 🌃 Owu) and Owu, (Day Owu) in Owu Mgbidi, women are not allowed to cross the stage where owu is been danced but can watch from behind and throw money from behind, except Ada Owu by title, and Ordinary man not initiated into Owu is not permitted to Dance 🩰 Owu, because is a dance of the Spirit and fortified, but Ekwa mmụọ you are free to dance Owu among Men.

Owu is been danced by following the lyrics of the 🎶 🎵 musical Sound and the Esu dance 🩰 step foot 🦶. thereby making your audience hail you the more.

Owu is a feminine Spirit, but initiated by Men and few female as Ada Owu, Owu has a designated alter called Enshirin, Each Enshirin has Agụ nà Egbụ Ewụ, Ụgbọ Oseere, Ọgba Uma and numerous ndị nkwura Mmụọ.

Owu is a cultural heritage that unified the people, identifying Who they are by origin, and a spiritual call for Wealth, unity and an hereditary ordinance.
