El Centro, is the charming, historic Old Town of Puerto Vallarta. My walking tour takes you along cobblestone streets; inside the historic church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Cathedral; the Plaza de Armas, the Main Square, a lovely oasis in the day time, and at night time, lots of great dancing. Across from the Plaza, the famous Arches on the Malecón. So much to see and do within a few blocks! #nancysolotrips
I stayed at Hotel Rio, one block from the Malecón Boardwalk. Hotel Rio is walking distance to everything (note, I am not sponsored for this). As a solo traveler, it was a great place to stay to be close to all the action. I felt safe, walking the Malecón, day and night. Night time is filled with great music and dancing at the Plaza de Armas.
