Mexico's Sheinbaum says country will not renew diplomatic relations with Ecuador

Diplomatic ties between Mexico and Ecuador continue to fray, as Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum rejects the idea of restoring relations with Quito. Her firm stance comes in response to Ecuador's recent raid on Mexico’s embassy in Quito and what she calls the questionable legitimacy of Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa’s election.
