Belajar TOEFL structure: Apa itu Appositive? (Skill 3)

Appositive merupakan noun yang berfungsi sebagai informasi tambahan terhadap noun/pronoun lainnya. Appositive menjadi masalah ketika posisinya setelah atau sebelum subject dalam soal TOEFL. Jika posisinya dekat subject, appositive bisa saja dianggap sebagai subject. Yang penting diingat adalah appositive itu BUKAN subject, melainkan hanya sebagai informasi tambahan terhadap subject.

Materi ini secara umum mengikuti buku TOEFL longman, untuk skill 3: be careful of appositives.
