From the Archives... The R.S.F: A silly project to create a new shape from a FB marketplace board, with the least waste produced possible.
Featured surfer: Luke Gouvignon
Created by chopping up a cheapo NSP board using a saw (cutting a fish tail+ new rails), reshaping the rails (the lumps are intentional) and then ding repairing the exposed foam. A few other minor things changed such as the leash plug position, had a big beautiful screwed in tail pad, that I ripped out and filled in with resin + fibreglass offcuts.
Overall a unique board. Heavy, has a slow rhythm to it, but its quite loose as well. Fins are a bit too small so that is to be altered soon. However a skilled surfer such as Luke can have fun with the slide outs too.
I hope this video goes to show, that if you've got skills, you can rip on anything! even a piece O' Junk. Had a lot of fun filming this one.
