Sculpted layers. Soap challenge club. Sydney Opera House inspired soap

This is my entry for this months #soapchallengeclub challenge. The challenge was to “create soap using the sculpted layers technique to create a landscape or design inspired by a National park, National monument, or other famous or recognizable landmark.” I chose the Sydney Opera House because of its unique shape! 🇦🇺

The fragrance is French Bourbon by #midwestfragrancecompany. It was a very, very light fragrance after saponification so we will have to see if any of the fragrance returns during cure. I hope so because it’s a beautiful fragrance and I would love to continue making soaps with it! (And of course I bought a huge bottle of it! 😜)

Unfortunately, I ran out of memory on my camera while filming and didn’t realize it but the rest of the layers were created in basically the same way. I used a mica line to create the pencil line at the top of the opera house and an in the pot swirl to create the ocean effect at the bottom. This was a fun learning experience.
