In this episode, we depart Seyðisfjörður, Iceland in late September to begin an offshore sail to the Faroe Islands along a historic North Atlantic route. What started as a routine passage quickly turned into a demanding crossing that tested our endurance and seamanship. We share the realities of offshore sailing late in the season navigating the ocean waves, fatigue and the challenges that come with being offshore with total electronic failure and no sailing instruments. This is an honest look at life aboard during a long passage we're sure we'll be talking about for years to come.
