“The Good Life” was written by Sacha Distel and Jean Broussolle. It was originally written in French and later translated and recorded by Tony Bennett. It was released on his album I Wanna Be Around, copyright Columbia Records, 1962. The song reached number 18 on the US Pop Singles chart. It became one of Bennett’s staple songs, and the title was used in Bennett’s autobiography. The song is featured in the movie The Seven Deadly Sins, and most recently played in The Walking Dead: The One’s Who Lived, in 2024.
