Why Conclave Surprised Me - and as a Catholic, I loved it

Conclave dives into the real question: how do you stay true to your faith when everything’s stacked against you?

What happens when the Church’s holy process becomes a battleground of scandals, rigid traditions, and progressive agendas? Conclave imagines behind the locked doors of the election process, but all it can see is a fight for control. But, at its center is Lawrence, a man struggling to live like Christ while surrounded by political games and moral compromises.

And for that reason, I loved this movie.
