Finally got around to flying the EDF Tomcat again. Got the cockpit secured with some velcro this time and took her for a quick flight around the RC field.
A little cloudy and the winds were about 6-8mph, hand launch at close to full power into the wind, slight drop and off she went. Lots of power to climb with the twin 50mm EDFs. CG was set slightly nose heavy with the battery pushed all the way forward, she can glide and turn at slow speeds without tipping over.
Wheels were removed so this was a "belly" landing on the reinforced nacelles. She slid for a bit, no visible damage, I had the bottom area covered with clear gorilla tape. 3000mah Lipo 66% after the flight.
