WOMEN IN MINISTRY SUMMARY:

Traits women have that make them powerful in ministry.

1.Loyalty and Devotion

Ladies are a backbone to ministries because of their loyalty and devotion
Stay faithful in hardship , God honours our everyday faithfulness
Loyalty is necessary in Christian ministry

Ruth 1.16
Where you go I will go and where you stay I will stay and your people will be my people and your God will be my God

John 19.25
Mary and the other ladies were there for Christ when he needed people most and did not leave his side until his last breath.
They later went to the tomb to check on him

2. Courage

Esther 4.15
Esther was courageous enough to go to the kings chambers although she knew she might be killed all because she knew that it would have saved her people
They are not shy stepping forward when they are convinced that it is the right thing to do
We need this in ministry

3. Leadership and wisdom

Deborah, the first female judge in Israel displayed this
Judges 4.9
She went to the wars with her generals leading them to many victories showing qualities of a good leader
1 Samuel 25.2
Abigail saved her entire household from destruction because of her wisdom. Her husband Nabal was a foolish and mean man and because this David was to destroy his entire family but because of Abigail's wisdom and quick thinking he spared their lives

4. Trust and obedience

Luke 1.38
Mary trusted the word of the Lord despite not knowing anything about motherhood and gave herself to be used by the Lord .

5. Prayer and surrender

1 Samuel 2.1,2
We have to learn how to surrender just like women.
Most ladies have learnt how to surrender in prayer and hence most intercessors are ladies .
They surrender to the master and allow the master to use them during intercession and are not ashamed of what others might think of them

If we are to better the future we must disturbe the present.
