The Red Deer Rutting is a grand event in the forest here in Lithuania. The view and sound of it is extraordinary! The stags roar like lions and fight for the females - to witness such an event is a dream of many photographers and nature lovers!
I will explain Red Deer Rutting`s behavior in a few videos. The deer rut has 3 distinct phases: Pre-rut, Rut, and Post-rut.
Today I`ll cover Pre-Rut - this is exactly what happened a few last weeks in the forest.
