Homemade Power Supply DC Filtering For Amateur Radio

Some while back, Luca ( IW2EPE ) emailed me about some issues he had with his homemade power supply. Since a while back I had some similar issues, I thought the best way would be to make a video about it. I hope it may help others having similar issues with the power supply and DC filtering.

Quick correction in the video: In all three schematics, the ceramic capacitors are 100nF each. I think in the last one you can only see a 1. That is because I rushed changing the schematic in photoshop and didn't noticed I covered the rest of the number. Just to be clear on that part.

I also made a mistake saying uF instead of uH at some point talking about the inductors. And also on the -12v it should be -0v but I usually put -12v just so I know that is the negative.
