This is no fancy video or anything. I have yet to figure out how to do that kind of thing...
I just wanted to point out one of the most beautiful and touching scenes in the whole series. I know that various people have made mean comments over the years about how the show didn't stick to the books, and changed everything etc... Well, I am a rather obsessive fan of the Sword of Truth books. But Legend of the Seeker is something else... Something entirely of its own... Some of the things the writers created for the show were quite fabulous. By making Panis Richard's father, they were able to tell this beautiful and touching story of pain, loss, sacrifice, forgiveness, and love. A couple of the lines here are probably the best in the entire series.
This scene is absolutely amazing.
John Rhys-Davies is such a fantastic actor. And Craig Horner is incredible in his subtle, emotional sincerity.
