The new dollhouse has a theme...a Scooby Doo style Mystery Mansion! What if Shaggy and Scooby retired from solving mysteries, and moved into their own mansion...what would it look like? What kind of things would they have hung on to to remind them of all their adventures over the years? That is what we will be doing as we decorate the rooms of this dollhouse, and what better place to start than with a secret door that leads to a room for them to store some of these memories!
In the first project (or Case), we will be building a secret door from the hallway into a storage room on the attic level of this Painted Lady dollhouse, by Real Good Toys. This case will take 8 parts to solve, but will be a fun project that despite the challenges, looks pretty convincing.
In Part 8, the final part in this Case, we will install the wainscotting, the Hall flooring, and see how to fix the door issue we discovered in the last episode. Then we will see the final secret door!
