Finding a mentor is much simpler than people realize; in fact, I kind of stumbled onto this.

When I was younger, I can still recall always wanting a basketball trainer or mentor but never having the money. I was dejected, but things changed around and people began to come to me personally for advice, so I always made it a point to assist as many people as I could.

1. DONT ASK FOR HELP this kinda annoys people that are in position to be a mentor. Their time is very valuable so they feel like you will be wasting them time by asking all kinda questions that could potentially pull them away from their work.

2. Help them out first, if you're bringing something to the table to help them out they will be way more willing to help you out b/c you're adding value to them as well & not wasting their time.

3. Purchase courses/buy books, I've spent over $5,000 just this month on business mentorship & honestly that's not to someone I can just get on the phone & call. I'm always purchasing digital products, training courses, and getting into the room that I can learn from valuable people. All those people I consider my mentor b/c I'm learning something from them. Shout to ‪@GrahamStephan‬ I purchased his YouTube course last year & it has helped me out tremendously so now I consider him a mentor as well.

Hopefully this gives you more confidence when you're looking to find a mentor in whatever space you're in, use some of these things mentioned in this video as well as add your own spin on things to better help find you mentors.

DON'T be afraid to pay for guidance, it's best to avoid their mistakes rather then you waste the time they spent going through their errors.
