Eduard Schmieder is L.H. Carnell Professor of Violin and Artistic Director for Strings at Boyer College of Music and Dance, Temple University, and music director of the iPalpiti orchestra.
For this iPalpiti season, eight violinists from his class at Boyer - current and alumni - were selected: Samuel Nebyu, Lorenzo Mazzamuto, Takamori Arai, Xiao Yuan, Azer Damirov, Pablo Stredel, Joseph Kauffman, and Akhmed Mamedov (playing viola).
