1 Trapped in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Rosemead

ROSEMEAD, Calif., Dec. 2 (KNN) – Law enforcement and emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle traffic collision shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and Hill Drive in Rosemead.

Authorities from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and the California Highway Patrol from the East Los Angeles Area office arrived on the scene.

Upon arrival, responders found three to four vehicles involved in the crash. One vehicle was on its side, and another was entangled in bushes with a person trapped inside. Firefighters worked quickly to free the driver of a Dodge Charger.

Paramedics transported two individuals to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

Investigators are looking into whether speed or alcohol played a role in the incident. The California Highway Patrol is handling the investigation.
