Grinding the grooves out of the crankshaft, fitting new pistons to the old conrods with a jet of fire and investigating the weird gunge in the forklift truck's fuel system, that we saw on the back of the valves in the last episode. All very satisfying stuff to sort out and thanks to Paul of Classic and Modern in Bracknell for using his engineering expertise to fix these last few engine issues.
Next job, we finally put all of this beautifully re-engineered stuff back together and then focus on making the outside as good as the heart of the beast (but in a funky way)...but of course that is a job for another day!
