S3 Replays: Custom Goo Tuber Vs. Clam Blitz

While my last video was rendering, and being inspired by a recent viewer comment, I decided to play a bit of Custom GooTuber, since I didn't use it, nor did I even see it once, during the recent Charger's only challenge rotation. And despite GooTuber being in contention for the worst main weapon in the game and the mode being Clam Blitz (keep in mind I actually like Clam Blitz) it overall went quite well. Well enough to record the replays to use in a video, even. (Not shown are the other 3 matches I played, all losses, that ranged from unfair to straight up rigged.) Really, this goes to show that knowing how to play the game is more important than you main weapon's power level (to an extent, anyway), at least in Soloque.

Many players write it off the Custom GooTuber kit because they think the Torpedo/Tenta Missiles kit is better. Maybe it is if you want to be boring and passive, sitting back and kit spamming with little use of the main weapon besides it's decent painting. But if you want to go in and fight? The Custom GooTuber kit has a loadout far better suited for that (even though you can just as easily sit back and throw Fizzy bombs and Ultra Stamps at the opponents, these don't encourage doing so as heavily as Torp/Missiles does).
