Twilight's eyes widened as the spear pierced her spine, and the rapidly growing crystals burrowed their way out of her regal flesh.

I'm guessing we all know how quickly king Sombra was defeated (the second time)... In MY headcanon, he didn't die at all- instead, he bided his time until the perfect moment to strike Equestria's new ruler...
Okay, so... this took me SO MUCH LONGER than I expected!!! In both time taken for the drawing itself (it must have taken me at least 10 hours to finish) as well as the date it was finally uploaded. I haven't been feeling too well, but it's great to finally get this one out!!! I'm very proud of this one, are you all excited for the last princess' death??? QUICK DISCLAIMER: I didn't draw nor own the background!
