45km hike to the 2 billion year old mountain (Roraima)- VR360 Adventure

At over 2 billion years old, some call this place, “The Lost World, others call it “House of the Gods.”
It’s a place still widely unexplored today home to carnivores plants seen nowhere else in the world and mystical legends of devious little people living at its rocky top, terrorizing those who dared to venture to this table top mountain.
This is the story of my 6 day, 45 km round trip hike to Mount Roraima

My Story:
I booked a one way ticket to Central America to see what I was really made of. 10 months and 8 countries later I found myself in South America, contemplating if I should visit Venezuela. People had told me not to visit, they told me it was too dangerous, but is it fair to sum up a whole country with one word, "dangerous." I went to go see with my own eyes and what I saw surprised me.

I travel alone with a 360 camera so I can bring you along and feel like you were there with me. Move your phone around and look at what peaks your interest as I discover this country few dare to visit.

As a storyteller, I feel that virtual reality and 360 videos has the potential to change how we watch documentaries since we can now experience the story instead of simply watching it. My focus as a filmmaker is to push the boundaries of VR through this series as I revisit my 16 month, solo backpacking adventure through Central and South America.
