This is part of my recreation and expansion of the original Game Boy Advance OST for DKC3 by David Wise. Inspired by Jammin' Sam Miller and his soundtrack restorations of the original SNES trilogy, I'm aiming to do a similar treatment for this version of the game, but with modern virtual instruments. I mean to expand upon the song arrangements so they build a bit more and don't just loop or fade out.
Hot Pursuit GBA is not my favorite piece from the game; I always felt it lacked the appropriate tempo and energy that the SNES track had. I contemplated speeding this one up to match the SNES one, but ultimately decided to keep it true. I threw in some funk and metal-esque guitars and kept at it until it grooved. I know this one has been on the waitlist for a while now, and I hope it doesn't disappoint!
