The Two BEST Scrim Teams of ALL TIME Meet | CVC Semi-Finals

This was the most stacked CVC scrim of all time on paper. 7/8 of the players were all ranked within the top 9 in the Top 10 Hive Scrimmers list (#1-#5, #7, #9) with the other two players in the top 9 (#6: Crypto and #8: rzlzn) being subs for each of our teams. (If modder (#1 Base) played it would've been 8/8, but RubricDeer (#1 SG) subbed in for him) (Also Ryan was on rzlzn)

Lots of things were riding on this scrim, especially because it was losers bracket (we both lost to Envy earlier on). Ryan was beefing everyone on our team pretty much except End. He made a diss video on me and threatened to steal my balls. He also stole Ace's identity as Batman. Raim and Rubric were playing mind games about who was truly playing base so we didn't know what their actual team was going to be. Adroit somehow got into my world and literally just griefed everything with TNT and lava. I had actually built a 1:1 recreation of Cyberspace to let Ace practice jump bridging perfectly to middle with 16 blocks and this put a dent in our plans. However, this back-fired on him since after he blew it up I spent the time figuring out a weakness in the AkinSlash defense instead. I used that very strat on him in the Temple round which led to him cheesing himself. Needless to say both our teams wanted this win badly. Hive was glitched during this time so the party would randomly nuke itself (it did this during the first round) so Ace couldn't comm properly. This was the first real scrim we won as a team since our previous match against The Flat Earthers involved a little trolling by a certain pantless mongolian. This scrim basically fixed all of our confidence and there's a huge change in everything during our finals scrim against Envy (you will be able to see when I upload it in a few weeks).

We lost a round on Spring but I didn't put it in because comms were muted in the recording. While this isn't uncut, I left it with minimal editing. Only "secret" strats are cut out or censored. There's lots of dead space where I'm just standing around while healing or running through mid banking emeralds. I want this video to be somewhat educational showing how you can perform well in a scrim even without perfect play, pvp, mechanics, team coordination, etc. This somehow still ended up being my best scrim against SY though cuz I got the triple treasure break hat trick. Most of our comms were literally just yelling at each other (especially on Pirates when it was 1-1), but that kept us aware and no one took anything personally. Looking back I also realized that the reason my mechanics nuked themselves during this CVC was because I changed from a 24 inch monitor to a 32 inch. Back then I didn't know that this would mess up my sensitivity and fov so I was keeping the same settings I had on the old monitor which basically led to me not being calibrated properly. I didn't fix this until Quantum CVC when I went up a bunch on both of them and my gameplay felt much better.
