I did a retake of welcome home cycles that fits the lore of my new sonic exe file named "Don't Leave Me.EXE," hope you guys enjoyed!

LORE:

Your Friend Sonic or Don’t leave me.EXE

A man named Clyde programs an AI, wanting to have a friend. Clyde lived in solitude, and was young- he felt isolated and alone. But, because of this, he was genius. His parents made him study day and night, often being cruel to him. From this, all he knew was computer programming and AI research development. His social skills were lacking, but he was a genius- so what if he made a friend? And what better way to do that then to make one out of his favorite game franchise, Sonic The Hedgehog! anyone would want that- right? To be friends with THE sonic the hedgehog and his friends!
This AI can morph itself into various sonic characters, and act as a friend would! Or at least what he thought a friend would act like. The AI would learn from him, and he would teach it human behaviors until it truly felt like each sonic character. You can talk to it virtually and it would answer, an actual full conversation with your favorite characters in sonic! They also held their personalities. But as time would go on, Clyde grew older. He was able to make ACTUAL friends, and have his own friend group after moving out from his parents. And as time went on, he realized that this was a way to escape for him

he couldn’t move on from his parents abuse until he let go of the past, but it’s here he encounters a problem. Let’s just say, his interpretation of friendship when he was younger was: You would be friends FOREVER. The concept of boundaries didn’t exist, and friends would do everything together- and it would also appease to him. When Clyde goes back…he doesn’t fully understand what he’s created. They would be friends forever. It’s obsessed with you, and the rest of the story has yet to unfold

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.

The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?

Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates.
