Join us for a rundown on the TAG XR Extreme Recovery Towbar that we have fitted to the DMAX. We built this rig to travel Australia in, and we put a lot of thought and consideration into the gear that we used.
The TAG XR Extreme Recovery Towbar is an Aussie made and designed bar that features 2 x 4500kg rated recovery points built into the sides to recover our vehicle from the rear, or help out others on the tracks while being able to execute safer recoveries (it enables us to use an equaliser strap, versus a single recovery hitch with a shackle). The bar also retains the 3500kg towing capacity of our vehicle, along with the 350kg ball weight.
