In this chapter we study about quality control of good drug and this is the third chapter of pharmacognosy ,according to new syllabus.
Quality control is an essential operation of the pharmaceutical industry. Drugs must be marketed as safe and therapeutically active formulations whose performance is consistent and predictable. New and better medicinal agents are being produced at an accelerated rate.
first of all we learn about adulteration then we learn about #evaluation these are part of quality control .
#adulteration means substitution or adding spurious, useless ,harmful ,defective, or inferior, substance with genuine drugs.
there are two types of adulteration first is #unintentional and second #intentional adulteration.
