September has been wet so far and has gotten wetter by the minute.... Time for a cozy craft! Paper pine cones are on the menu in this video, except they don't quite go to plan... but I persevere! The weather does have its moments when it is dry enough to go for a walk, so we jump on that straight away and enjoy a stroll along the canal in the fresh country air, observing the signs of autumn coming in thick and fast. Lastly, its down the allotment to try and protect some seedlings, but I manage to harvest a few pears, and I'm so excited to harvest my butternut squashes! (have to wait a couple more weeks before I can do that though.)
It has been a pretty manic couple of weeks to be fair, both our daughters have their birthdays within 3 days of each other, so I hope that I have managed to capture some of the quiet and calm of September so far .
