61歳が挑戦する『怪獣』【アニソン魂#12】“令和アニソン最高難度への覚悟” ─ 魂の声で甦る｜半世紀の歌旅 × 4K感動体験

今年2025年、アニソン魂シリーズのシーズン1を9月で締めくくり、
しばらく邦楽・洋楽を配信してまいりましたが──
ここで再び、令和アニソンの中でも群を抜く難易度を誇る一曲に挑みます。

今回取り組んだのは、アニメ
『チ。 ―地球の運動について―』主題歌「怪獣」（サカナクション）。
山口一郎さんがうつ病と向き合いながら、構想2年、魂を込めて完成させた楽曲です。

61歳の私がこの曲に挑戦することは、
決して簡単な挑戦ではありませんでした。
特にこの「怪獣」はリズム・言葉・発声・情感のすべてが高度に絡み合い、
今まで避け続けてきたほどの壁でした。

しかし──
半世紀歌い続けてきた者として、
そして、まだ挑戦できるこの身体と魂を持つ者として、
この年齢だからこそ向き合うべき曲なのではないか。
そう思い、覚悟を決めて取り組みました。

制作は想像以上に難航し、
何度も心が折れそうになりました。
それでも最後まで諦めずに立ち上がったのは、
この曲が持つ
「破壊と再生」
「絶望と希望」
「闇を抱えながらも前へ進む力」
──そのすべてが、私自身の人生と深く共鳴したからです。

サカナクションが生み出したこの世界観に敬意を込め、
そして、61歳の私が今まさに生きている“現在”を刻むために、
魂の声で歌い切りました。

This time, I took on one of the most challenging anime songs of the Reiwa era:
“Kaiju” by Sakanaction, the opening theme for the anime “Chi.: On the Movements of the Earth.”

Sakanaction’s Ichiro Yamaguchi created this song after battling depression,
spending two full years to complete it.
The result is a piece of music that is overwhelmingly complex—
rhythmically, lyrically, emotionally, and spiritually.

For me, at 61 years old, singing “Kaiju” was a daunting challenge.
It pushed my limits far beyond anything I had attempted in recent years.
But there was something in this song—
its themes of destruction and rebirth, despair and hope—
that resonated deeply with my own life journey.

This performance is not simply a cover.
It is my personal confrontation with the “monster” within—
a dialogue between the song and the voice I’ve carried through
half a century of singing.

I poured my entire soul into this recording.
I truly hope this performance reaches you,
and that you can feel the “voice of the soul” within it.
