StyroCHAT: StyroSEAL/LT by StyroMAX

StyroSEAL/LT by StyroMAX is four-part extrusion kit used to seal hatch doors or openings on recreational vehicles.

Comprised of Part A, B, C and an adhesive D seal, StyroSEAL/LT allows customers to create customised openings in their builds.

Part A & B of StyroSEAL/LT is our own 2-piece aluminium profile suitable for hatch doorways on RV’s which require a smaller looking profile. Powder coated white; the profile comes complete with ‘TRIM-LOK’ self-adhesive rubber seal.

Part C of StyroSEAL/LT is our own aluminium profile suitable for hatch doors on RV’s which require a smaller looking profile. Powder coated white; the profile comes complete with ‘TRIM-LOK’ self-adhesive rubber seal. This trim is only suitable for rebated hatch doors which is carried out on our cnc profile centre during panel trimming.

StyroSEAL/LT has a removable back leg to allow you to mitre cut the pieces and to fit the last piece in.

When you get your custom made panel set and you specify that you want StyroSEAL/LT, you will note that the panel is rebated to accommodate the seal.

If you have specified a lock, our CNC machine can pre-cut the lock for you.

Frequently asked question: Can I have my hatch doors flush to the floor? Yes you can by creating a "z" section with the seal.

It is very important to take care when you mitre the extrusion and the seal. Take your time and be precise. You can use a little bit of adhesive on the joins to ensure a good seal.

We recommend installing the D seal to the door, not the doorway. This will mean that the likelihood of damage will be reduced.
