The song tells the story of a woman who does everything to keep the spark alive - she buys the dress, shaves, polishes - only to find her man glued to the TV with a six-pack. Local stations in Kentucky and Arkansas gave it a few spins, but Nashville execs called it “too crude for radio” and sadly shelved her career before it began.
