A Quiet and Magical Corner of Oregon

While we were overlanding with our Jeep Gladiator, we explored a wonderfully weird section of Oregon. Every bend in the road brought us new terrain to traverse as we stumbled into steep switchbacks, mucky mud pits, cattle for our dogs to yell at, miles and miles of lava flows.

If you'd like to follow our path, check out the southeastern corner of Oregon and look for Birch Creek Road, Birch Creek Ranch, the Owyhee River, Jordan Craters, Coffee Pot Crater, Jeep Trail Road, and Bogus Ranch Road.

If you are interested in wanting to adventure more, the best way to begin is to do a little research, and get out there with what you have. There are plenty of amazing places across this continent that you can go with any vehicle! We started out with a 1998 VW Beetle that was held together with Duck Tape and love, a ten year old leaky tent, and a lot of determination.
