Starting to put my 4.2L all back together (1981 CJ7). Very pleased with the work the machine shop did. I knew the journals were uneven so they ground them down and polished - .010 under. Matched with the .010 under bearings and the plastigauge check confirmed right in the middle of spec .001 - .0025. Slow and steady and measure everything. Will continue going step by step and post each of them.
