ADIDAS X SOUTH PARK CAMPUS 80S "TOWELIE" REVIEW + ON FEET

In this video i'm checking out a sneaker that I did not expect to cop based on it's resale price but since it restocked for Adiclub Members Week the resale price tanked. The sneaker in question is the Adidas X South Park Campus 80s "Towelie"

This sneaker originally dropped in Apr 2021 on the CONFIRMED app for £85 here in the UK to celebrate 420 in a limited run and it was an instant sell out with resale prices hitting £1000 a few days later. At the time I entered on CONFIRMED app and took my L and did not think I was ever going to have this sneaker in my collection.

However in 2022 as part of Adiclub Members Week, Adidas decided to not only restock the sneaker but also drop a lot more pairs. Now this was still not an easy cop as I did take an L in my true size but did cop a Sz 8 as I wanted to see the sneaker in hand and then decide if I was going to cop my true size on secondary market.

Since there were a lot more pairs available the resale price tanked and I was able to cop my true size from StockX for £110 which is 80% less than the highest resale price last year.

This sneaker is based on the Towlie character from South Park who is a renowned pot head and is always getting high, it features a white outsole and midsole along with an all chalk purple towel like terry cloth material upper on the classic Campus 80's silhouette. On each tongue you have eyes which when exposed to sunlight turn bloodshot which is a cool touch. THe sneaker also features stash pockets behind the tongue and 2 key chains which have the Towelie phrases "I don't know what i'm doing" and Don't forget to bring a towel", this wording also features on the back of each respective tongue.. To finish off the collaboration, you get special packaging.
