Hello! First off, I know this is long, but I am going to try to make "chapters" work so you can find the section you want, because here are soooooo many sections!

So, I'm starting with a pattern that has a fitted bodice so of course there are some pattern alterations there because of gravity etc. Also, the usual sleeve widening for thicker arms, as you do...
Since I'm using a quality suiting wool, I figured this would be the perfect project to incorporate fusible tailoring which helps with perfect roll lines, back stays and shoulders. And of course, I can't leave that alone so I'm also making bound buttonholes with a special bound buttonhole maker tool which I LOVE! Then there are fitting tweaks, late night mistakes to be corrected and all the rest. In the end, it turned out like beautiful and classic jacket.
